Description: Resort in the Caribbean

Inspiration:  This piece was inspired by visiting an old resort in Puerto Rico.

Materials Used: Wood, straw, craft paper, cardboard, rope, a small ceramic coqui (typical only in the island of Puerto Rico).

Process:  This three-dimensional wood art is designed and crafted by hand using custom tools and materials.  This process requires such exacting and creative skills that it is very rare to find any other form of art quite like this.  In addition to his fine craftsmanship, the artist adds a unique sense of whimsical humor to many of his pieces creating collectibles that become the center of conversation in almost any home, office or gallery.  This form of art must be seen to be fully appreciated.
